Director / Registered Conveyancer
Jake Evans
Born and raised in Strathalbyn on the Fleurieu Peninsula, he began his conveyancing career in Victor Harbor in 2007 and has been a Registered Conveyancer since 2013. Jake has a high level of experience in many aspects of conveyancing including residential and commercial settlements, Contract and Form 1 preparation, family transfers, leases, land divisions and retirement village transactions. Handling settlements for businesses, commercial properties and hotels for amounts in excess of $20 million, all the way to blocks of land in Andamooka, Jake has handled it all. He has built long lasting relationships with first home buyers, investors and small and large businesses and aims to ensure Houtermans Horner Conveyancing is one of the most respected Conveyancing companies in South Australia Jake holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of South Australia and outside of work he loves spending time with his family and friends, watching sport and attending live music. He has previously been a committee member of the Strathalbyn Football Club, where he was the club Secretary during their 2014 premiership winning season. He loves interactions with new and existing clients and will be more than happy to discuss any conveyancing matter.

Registered Conveyancer
Amanda Gibson
Amanda brings more than 17 years of experience in the conveyancing industry, and can handle anything from house transfers to commercial transactions, as well as assisting with a wide range of services including contract and Form 1 - Vendor’s Statement preparation, land divisions, and family transfers. Registered since 2014, and with an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services, Amanda has over a decade of knowledge and a friendly, professional touch. Amanda’s career includes 13 years at an Adelaide law firm, specializing in conveyancing and securitisation matters, before transitioning to a dedicated Conveyancing firm in 2019, before joining us in 2024. She genuinely thrives on the challenges of real estate, and always aims to offer thoughtful advice, timely communication, and a truly professional service. Her goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for all involved parties, whether you’re a vendor, purchaser, broker or real estate agent. You can trust Amanda to handle your conveyancing transactions efficiently, minimizing outgoings, reducing stress, and avoiding unnecessary delays. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young children, and family.

Registered Conveyancer
Bahar Salehi
Bahar Salehi is a Registered Conveyancer at Houtermans Horner Conveyancing, joined the team in January 2025. Her passion for property began more than 10 years ago through her own involvement in commercial and residential property matters. Prior to conveyancing, Bahar worked in housing within a non-profit organisation, supporting newly arrived refugees and helping individuals and families secure stable housing and support services. Fluent also in Kurdish, Farsi, and Dari, Bahar enjoys working closely with clients and is committed to providing a smooth, supportive, and stress-free conveyancing experience from start to finish. Outside of work, Bahar enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter play basketball.

Conveyancing Assistant
Rowena Trimboli
Rowena has extensive experience in the Conveyancing Industry. She was originally part of the Houtermans & Horner Team as a 17 year old, spending 12 years at the organisation prior to having children. Returning to the Industry at Tony Severino Conveyancers, she has enjoyed a long involvement, including seeing Tony Severino becoming part of the H&H Business early this year. Rowena enjoys the friendly and fun office environment, and the supportive team structures that enable H&H to look after their clients so well. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her girls play Club Soccer and compete in Hip Hop Dance Competitions.

Conveyancing Assistant
Amber Foster
Amber comes to Houtermans & Horner with the backing of a two-decade long career across both the Medical and Legal Industries. She has held roles in Medical Reception, Aged Care, Phlebotomy and nursing, as well as having a Diploma of Law and working in the field of Law. Born and bred in the South East (at Millicent), all of her life and career experience feed into her very pleasant demeanour, and a helpful approach based on great customer service for our clients. These days she also thrives on the learnings involved with all things conveyancing and real estate, and enjoys the teamwork and atmosphere of the Houtermans & Horner Office. Outside of work, a fun fact is that she lived in New Zealand for a few years, and adored it! In her spare time, Amber enjoys arts and crafts, as well as spending time with her family.

Receptionist/Conveyancing Assistant
Tyneisha Nichols
Growing up around family involved in property development, retirement villages, and home lending, Tyneisha developed an early interest in the property industry and always knew she wanted to build a career within the property sector. After exploring different pathways and speaking with industry professionals, she discovered a passion for conveyancing and has been pursuing it ever since. Since joining Houtermans Horner Conveyancing in February 2026 as a Receptionist / Conveyancing Assistant, Tyneisha has been developing her practical experience while completing her Advanced Diploma for Conveyancing. She enjoys helping clients through important milestones and being part of a process that can often feel overwhelming without the right support. Outside of the office, Tyneisha is also a DJ, bringing creativity and energy into both her professional and personal life.

Receptionist / Administration
Debbi Matthews
Debbi joined the Houtermans Horner team in late 2022, after working within the real estate industry for the previous 30 years. She is always ready with a smile to welcome you into the office, or a warm greeting when you telephone us. Happily married for over 35 years with 3 grown children, when not working Debbi spends time with her family and 2 boxer dogs and loves to bake, often bringing sweet treats into the office for her colleagues.

Consultant
Michael Horner
Michael has been Conveyancing since 1984 and in the practice of Houtermans Horner since 1988. He has a wealth of experience in all facets of conveyancing and is happy to share his knowledge with all his clients. He has been recognised as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (SA) for his outstanding contribution to the industry. Michael is a devoted family man with three children. His pride and joy is his Harley Davidson motorbike and loves a leisurely country ride.

Tony Severino
Tony first gained his Conveyancing Licence in 1982. In 1987 he commenced his own Business in Tea Tree Gully, and has gained a loyal following of repeat and regular Clients, who value his expertise and professionalism. Tony is married with 3 adult children and sees this opportunity as a way of continuing to assisting his Clients well into the future.
